2. Voluntary Participation

Participation in the SMS program is voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing legal services, entering into an attorney-client relationship, or receiving representation from Socks Law Associates, PLLC.

Declining or withdrawing SMS consent will not affect the legal services provided by the Firm. Other communication methods may remain available.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your inquiries, appointments, case activity, deadlines, and communication needs.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages according to your mobile service plan.

Socks Law Associates, PLLC is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.

5. Opting Out

You may stop receiving text messages from Socks Law Associates, PLLC at any time by replying STOP to a message from the Firm.

After you submit an opt-out request, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. The Firm will not send additional text messages unless you later provide renewed consent or otherwise opt back in.

Opting out of text messaging does not terminate an attorney-client relationship or Attorney Fee Agreement.

Use the Firm's approved secure methods to transmit sensitive documents or information.

11. No Attorney-Client Relationship Through Opt-In

Submitting the SMS opt-in form, receiving text messages, or communicating with Socks Law Associates, PLLC by text message does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.

An attorney-client relationship is established only after the Firm agrees to accept the representation and the parties complete any required engagement or Attorney Fee Agreement.

12. No Emergency or Deadline Communications

Text messaging should not be used for emergencies, urgent legal matters, last-minute court notices, or time-sensitive filing instructions.

Do not assume that the Firm has received or reviewed a text message until the Firm confirms receipt. In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service. For urgent legal matters, call the Firm directly at (214) 550-2093.

13. Telephone-Number Changes

You agree to notify the Firm promptly if your mobile telephone number changes, is disconnected, or is reassigned to another person.
